Frequently Asked Questions
We believe salvation comes from God alone through an individual’s repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This involves a process of faith, repentance, confession, and baptism we find in the Bible, specifically Acts 2:38; 8:12; 10:47–48; Rom. 10:9.
We don’t want a camper to make a decision simply because a friend is doing it. There is also no strategic, forceful, or manipulative push, nor any highly emotional chapel sessions or campfires, in which we expect the camper to make a decision they are unclear about. That is not a real decision or relationship.
When a child voluntarily decides with us that they want to be baptized, a volunteer at that camp session discusses with them what it means to have a relationship with Christ. During this process, the Program Director or another volunteer will contact the parent or guardian listed on the camper’s registration information.
If a camper is going to be baptized at camp, we welcome parents, grandparents, and friends to attend the baptism service, which is typically after the parent pickup time. Sometimes parents and campers have already discussed baptism before they arrive at camp. If so, feel free to share that with his/her dorm parent or Program Director at check-in.
We want all campers to have an excellent and comfortable stay at camp. We are proud of the facilities God has blessed us with and are confident your camper will be well cared for.

Each week, there are two Lost & Found areas located in front of Hillside Chapel and in the Ark recreation building. Parents are strongly encouraged to check those areas before leaving the grounds. If, after arriving home, you realize some items are missing, contact the camp office. We will gladly sort through the items we have to locate your lost items. It would be greatly appreciated if all belongings were labeled with your child's name. We keep all Lost & Found items until August 31st. Claimed items must be picked up at the office before then or will be donated.
